Global Head of Pricing – Cambridge - £60,000 - £75,000

 One of SoCodes’ key clients are now looking for a Global Head of Pricing. This role will be integral to the business in helping to define the overall pricing strategy alongside the existing executive management team. This role will cross over with several departments including pricing for operations, sales and various other areas of the business. Experience within a leadership position is essential for this post. You will be developing pricing tools that enable price-setting and monitoring of discounts alongside IT and finance.

 

Within this role, you will:

• Help to define overall pricing strategy
• Sets list price and margin targets
• Lead the elaboration of the Price List
• Sets approval and discounting policy (DoA)
• Builds pricing expertise and capabilities
• Keeps market intelligence up-to-date, e.g. observe competition price evolutions, prepare marketing analysis
• Lead the definition of the Special Price Application Process and follow its implementation

You will have:

• leadership & execution experience,
• Front-line sales experience,

• Assertiveness and authority to implement pricing policies across multiple countries,
• Ability to handle negotiations involving multiple stakeholders (internal and external),
• Ability to take fast decisions under insecure and ambiguous circumstances without the full picture,

• Assertiveness,
