Game Play Programmer (C++) – Must have AAA rated Games Experience

We are partnered again with one of our long-standing clients who are looking for a Game Play Programmer. Even in these very uncertain times this company is looking to move forward and carry on growing. Since the start of the year they have seen up lifts of 40% in their industry and have signed two very significant contracts. They are looking for AAA game developers who are looking for a new challenge as they will be building 2 new games.

 They have become a market leader in their area of expertise. They are looking for highly skilled C++ developers but if you come from a games background in any other language and can cross over to C++ they want to see your profile!

The company is based in Cambridge and is a real powerhouse in their sector. They are leading the way in their field and are looking for driven and motivated games play programmer who is are looking to further their career. Candidates who join this company seem to stay here for years as the culture and environment are really second to none.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or numerate subject – Top Grades are Beneficial
• Skilled in C++ development
• Worked on AAA rated games  
•  Ability to communicate well with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers, Training and Product Support.
• Experience of using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and DevOps.
•  Good understanding of the fundamentals of Unity

Beneficial to Have –

• Worked on either a F1 game or a Warhammer Game
