Engineering Project Manager for a Radar Business with extensive travel overseas

Job description

Using data to measure and monitor structural issues and decay? This Cambridge based business has used their state-of-the-art products to dominate this market and have grown in sales by more than 40x value this year.

As their new Project Manager you would work with the Senior Project Manager to help oversee Engineering Drawings, meet clients overseas at their sites and also manage a number of projects using CAD to help execute them with technical precision.

The travel is really the most exciting part of this role as you will be travelling sometimes 30-40 days every 3-4 months to the Middle East (or closer to home) to help installations of their radar software onsite for clients.

You will have to have at least 2-3 years experience working alongside clients on engineering project management projects, also experience working with CAD and doing Engineering Drawings. This is a must.

There will be times when you are going to be based at the Cambridge office but in all honesty the travel is 'when needed' so you will be expected to travel when a client asks, but the rest of the time will be based in the Cambridge office.

What makes this worth leaving your current role for?

The business has two project managers currently. They are looking for someone to come in and really run with this job and progress fast. They are taking on millions of pounds in orders and are only going to continue to grow both here and overseas. They can offer private medical healthcare, time back in lieu, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 8% pension and the opportunity to spend time working with multi-national clients on new product ranges from day one.
