Electronics Design Engineer - Ely

Job description

This is a manufacturer of motion control and vibration isolation products for photonic applications.

Here are some points that I think the right individual for this job, would like about this company:

Firstly, they’re a goal and progression-orientated company. Rather than set ambiguous objectives, from the get-go, you’ll set realistic targets and your manager will work with you to identify areas where you’ll need training. The first objective is to get you from an Electronics Design Engineer to a senior. You’ll then have two pathways, one to lead & manage, and another to a Principal Engineer.

Next is the training and development on offer. Your manager will work closely with you to understand where you’ll require external training, hands-on lab experience, annual leadership development, and where appropriate, funded education.

Lastly, the tech, labs, and facilities. The team you’ll join works in a £13M purpose-built facility, with all the equipment, bells, and whistles you’ll need, modern and state-of-the-art.

(P.S. Sorry that I'm unable to advertise the salary on this one, typically this business likes to be transparent. That being said, if you give me a call, I'll talk you through as much else about the job as I can, and I'll be honest about expectations matching up with their budget.)

Benefits:

Group Life Cover, Group income protection & Private Healthcare

Tech requirements:

Hands-on experience of electronics digital and analogue design

Embedded software development in assembler and C

Firmware experience would be helpful

Altium designer experience would also be a bonus

PCB Design experience
