Title: Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant
Permanent Remote with UK client travel - Must be UK based
Salary: Up to £65,000
Are You… A highly experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of the wider Dynamics 365 Business Applications suite, particularly within the UK SME and mid-market space?
Do you enjoy leading full lifecycle implementations, working closely with clients, and supporting the growth and capability of a consulting team?
This opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of end-to-end delivery, contribute to pre-sales activity, and mentor consultants—helping to maintain high standards and consistent knowledge sharing across the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in Dynamics 365 Business Central, delivering end-to-end implementation projects
- Support the commercial team during pre-sales, including solution design, demonstrations, proposals, and estimates
- Conduct detailed business process reviews, translating requirements into effective BC solutions
- Lead project scoping, documentation, and delivery planning
- Manage system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live activities
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business objectives
- Provide post-implementation support, enhancements, and optimisation guidance
- Stay current with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft platform updates, driving adoption of new functionality
- Mentor and support junior consultants, promoting best practice and continuous improvement
- 3+ years’ hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision (2013 onwards)
- 5+ full lifecycle Business Central implementations
- Strong functional expertise across core BC modules including:
- Finance
- Sales & Purchasing
- Inventory & Supply Chain
- Projects / Jobs
- Experience working with third-party solutions such as Continia, Jet Reports, or similar ISV products
- Proven experience in solution design, implementation, support, and delivery management
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 and its integration with Dynamics 365
- Previous exposure to C/AL, AL concepts, or SSRS reporting (functional awareness level)
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other reporting / BI tools
- Ability to produce accurate project plans, estimates, and deliver within scope, time, and budget
- Experience mentoring or coaching consultants
- Comfortable managing multiple clients across different industries
- Prior experience in pre-sales or client-facing consultancy roles
