I’m looking for a skilled Contracts & Commercial Manager to take a lead role in managing commercial contracts, supporting bid activity, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This is a high-impact role with broad scope, ideal for someone with solid experience in commercial or contract management, and a strong ability to work across technical and legal functions. βš–οΈπŸ“„
πŸ›  Key Responsibilities:
  • ✍️ Lead contract drafting, review, and negotiation, including non-standard terms
  • βœ… Oversee regulatory compliance across UK and international jurisdictions
  • 🀝 Manage relationships with external legal adviser
  • πŸ“‘ Support complex bids by assessing commercial risk and contributing to tender responses
  • πŸ”„ Coordinate with Bid Team and Product Strategy to develop documentation
  • πŸ“š Maintain and update the contracts portfolio and bid response library
  • πŸ› Support export licence applications and liaise with government authorities
  • πŸ“¦ Assist with procurement contracts and corporate legal matters
🎯 What We're Looking For:
Essential:
  • πŸŽ“ Degree-qualified (any discipline)
  • πŸ“ Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Commercial Manager
  • πŸ‘₯ Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • πŸ—£ Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • πŸ” Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
  • πŸ‘¨β€βš–οΈ Able to manage legal adviserΒ and regulatory input
  • πŸ—“ Strong organisation and deadline management.
Desirable:
  • βš–οΈ Law degree or legal training
  • 🧾 Experience with public sector contracting (DEFCONs, FAR/DFARS, etc.)
  • πŸ’» Knowledge of SaaS and IP licensing contracts
  • πŸ”§ Background in technology or engineering sectors
  • 🌐 Experience with international jurisdictions and export compliance
