Iβm looking for a skilled Contracts & Commercial Manager to take a lead role in managing commercial contracts, supporting bid activity, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. π Key Responsibilities:
- βοΈ Lead contract drafting, review, and negotiation, including non-standard terms
- β Oversee regulatory compliance across UK and international jurisdictions
- π€ Manage relationships with external legal adviser
- π Support complex bids by assessing commercial risk and contributing to tender responses
- π Coordinate with Bid Team and Product Strategy to develop documentation
- π Maintain and update the contracts portfolio and bid response library
- π Support export licence applications and liaise with government authorities
- π¦ Assist with procurement contracts and corporate legal matters
Essential:
- π Degree-qualified (any discipline)
- π Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Commercial Manager
- π₯ Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- π£ Strong written and verbal communication skills
- π Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail
- π¨ββοΈ Able to manage legal adviserΒ and regulatory input
- π Strong organisation and deadline management.
- βοΈ Law degree or legal training
- π§Ύ Experience with public sector contracting (DEFCONs, FAR/DFARS, etc.)
- π» Knowledge of SaaS and IP licensing contracts
- π§ Background in technology or engineering sectors
- π Experience with international jurisdictions and export compliance
- πͺ Confident, calm under pressure, and adaptable
- π₯ A natural team player with leadership potential
- π§ High integrity and professionalism
- βοΈ Willingness to travel as required
