SoCode are sourcing a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for our market leading client, a cradle to grave manufacturer of handheld industrial electronic equipment.

This contract has arisen due to an upcoming launch or a brand new range of products. The launch is imminent in the next few weeks.

As such, our client requires additional manpower for the design of specialist production equipment, ranging from assembly aids, jigs and fixtures, through to test equipment such as bed of nails enclosures, automated test equipment boards, and much more.

As such we are looking for a highly skilled mechanical design engineer, who can work closely with a number of teams ranging from electronic engineers, through to production engineers.

We can consider a range of seniority levels for this vacancy.

This contract is initially for 6 months.

 

Requirements for application:

• Pro Engineer / Creo (or earlier forms of Pro Engineer)
• Design of production/test equipment

Beneficial:

• Preparation of technical documentation, including specification
• Experience in industrial grade manufacture of small electronic products
