Senior Java Engineer

Contract - Outside IR35

12 month contract

£400-£550 per day

Hybrid working model - 2 days per week in Cambridge Office 

February start

 

I am currently looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join an exciting new project, working to privide global leading software house. We are looking for someone with a proven interest in technology, committed to an agile software development good practice whilst utilising teamwork. Self motivated problem solver, with great communication skills. This role will develop innovative solutions based on our clients automated data validation products. You will mainly be developing in Java accross the technology stack. Also working in a small self managing agile team, meaning you will be involved in design, development and test stages, solving tough problems whilst keeping the quality of work high. 

 

Required skills:

- Proven strong Java development skills

- Desire to learn new skills, concepts and technologies

- Familiar with professional software development (Maven/Gradle. Version Control Tooling GIT)

- Strong background in Mircoservices 

-Understanding of Cloud technologies - (AWS,GCP or Azure)

 

Preffered Skills:

- Experience with front-end development - React

- Developing SOAP and REST API's
