Software Developer (C#) - Cambridge - £35,000 - £55,000

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Software Developer with a proven track record of delivering products from an Agile development team. Based in Cambridge, our client is in a great location with recently renovated offices to make space for company expansion. You will have the opportunity to work with a brilliant team, all very sociable who create an enjoyable environment to work within.

As an organisation based within the FinTech space, this is a great opportunity for any outstanding developers to gain further experience within the Finance sector. With some great success to date, our client is looking for talented individuals to help the business grow further.

In order to be considered, candidates will need to hold:

  • Proven aptitude or a degree in computer science (or equivalent)
  • Commercial experience with: C# (.Net 4.5), JavaScript, JQuery, MS SQL, WCF, HTML/CSS
  • Ability to work with TDD and Automated Testing
  • High problem solving with the ability to find solutions under tight deadlines
  • Ability to be versatile in order to work on different projects

You will need to hold exceptional communication skills allowing you to work well as part of a team, but also take on sole responsibilities as and when required. You will be working closely with your  Senior Developer who will help assist with your own career development path. Working with this it will enable you to not only grow your skill set of used technologies but also develop individuals as a person, allowing you to manage situations and processes better in the future.

Experience with the following will benefit your application, however these are not essential.

  • Git, Team City, NUnit, AWS  

In return candidates will receive a generous basic salary which will be based on your capabilities and what you can bring to the business. This will range between £35,000 - £55,000.

Candidates are required to work a 35 hour week Monday – Friday.

Working hours are flexible, however this will need to be between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm.
