QA Tester/ Test Engineer/ Automation Tester (C#/Java)

Our client, who are based in Cambridge are seeking an experienced and professional QA Tester to join their Cambridge branch.

Our client is a well-established and continually growing FCA regulated FinTech company that are on the forefront of electronic payment systems. Due to our client residing in the Finance domain they are always working with the most up to date tech stack and they truly value their testers for the benefits they provide for the company. The company is expanding and the testing team is expanding with the company and is looking to be one of the largest testing teams in Cambridge. They are a fun-loving and welcoming company who regularly participate in out of hours activities including company night outs, sports games and regular charity events.

They are currently looking to secure a QA Automation Tester to join their Cambridge office who will help test their internal systems. As a QA Automation Tester, you will be tasked with analysing the requirements of the system, how to test the system, plan the automation scripts, write the scripts and then review the data.

The role is based in their newly renovated and refurbished office just on the outskirts of Cambridge (3 miles from the city centre) and provides free parking and ample public transport links for the office.

Essential skills and requirements:

•          Practical knowledge and experience of object-oriented languages (C#, Java, etc.)

•          Experience of automation test coding e.g. NUnit, Junit.

•          Skilled in integration, functional and non-functional testing.

•          Experience of developing test code or software in an modern OO language, ideally C# or Java but others will be considered

•          Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

•          You must be someone who is open-minded and ready to learn.

The salary for the role is between £35,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience and it will Including a generous benefits package consisting of a bonus, 25 holiday days, a flexible working week, private medical, generous pension contribution and more.
