Our client is looking to expand their current team with an additional 3x Bioinformatics Scientists. This is a fantastic opportunity so individuals still early in their career who would like to join a well-recognised and global leader within the Life Sciences sector.

As a successful candidate, you will need to be able to show an enthusiastic attitude alongside some outstanding problem solving skills. An understanding/ interest in Biology and disease would be highly beneficial to your application. Other required attributes include:

-          Ability to work to tight time constraints whilst under pressure.

-          Previous experience of working I a Linux environment.

-          Scripting experience in Python or Perl.

Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:

-          Database API technologies, i.e.; ORM

-          Use of SGE, LSF or Amazon EC2

-          Productivity tools such as version control and issue tracking

-          Working under Quality Management Systems

-          Experience of NGS bioinformatics analysis

Please note: Successful candidates must possess a Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or Genetics.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

Company benefits: £4,000 Cash Benefits per annum which include annual bonus and company equity.
