Due to continued success, SoCode have a rare and exciting opportunity for talented engineers to join our highly successful smart homes client as an Embedded Software Engineer, working with Embedded Linux.

The successful software engineer will be working closely with customers to create connected modules which will allow them to incorporate a wide range of additional functionality to their existing systems. You will be responsible for both new software development, as well as maintenance of the existing Embedded Linux platform software.

This is a varied role that will see you invovled with a number of different development tasks. Customising software to meet specific customer requirements, integrating with new hardware and software systems. technical support for all stakeholders and colleagues, investigation and debugging of problems, developing in house tools, developing specifications, and most importantly developing software.

This role would suit a highly skilled engineer, with good experience an understanding of Embedded Linux (both C and C++ engineers are welcomed)
