SoCode has been given the pleasure of helping one of the leading global banks. This role will encompass building a brand-new payment platform in London. This is quite easily one of the most exciting opportunities in the tech space and would be an amazing chance for you to bring you skill set to this new team.

You might be thinking large blue-chip banking company in London, very corporate. This team will be built from the ground up, with the environment being tailored to the development. You will play an integral part in building a very bespoke payment platform.

If you’re looking for greenfield role and a chance to work to work for a global leader in banking this is your chance! You will need to be a Product owner who has a strong payment background. A broad understanding of payments is vital.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

Skills required

• Act as subject matter expert in the card payments domain including all industry standards, card scheme specifications, security standards. Experience in the European market is advantageous.

• Expertise in the card payments domain with strong experience across card schemes, merchant acceptance, acquiring and issuing systems

• Strong technical and analytical skills with strong critical thinking and problem-solving background in engineering or related disciplines

• Conducting detailed business and technical analysis; writing business requirements, breaking down into epics and stories with respect to credit/debit card transaction processing, issuance, lifecycle management, and value-added features including payment devices and tokenization.
