SoCode are working with a well established name in Semiconductors to source a software developer to work on developing both Software Tools and Test Systems for new cutting edge technology.

This is an all encompassing role that will see you designing, and developing and then releasing the toools and systems.

The systems you create will then be used on all software relating to the chips (hence, the majority will be firmware).  As such, some experience of these markets would be highly beneficial, but most importantly you will need experience with the Python language.

3 and 6 month contracts are available, with possibility of extension

 

Requirements for application:

• Experience both developing new components and tools, as well as improving existing ones
• Python
• A strong understanding of object oriented software, and related design techniques
• Knowledge of continuous integration (Jenkins is preferable, but others are fine)
• Knowledge of GIT, or similar
