SoCode are working with a world leading client to find a Software Test Engineer on a contract basis for their Cambridge office.  This can be a 3 or 6 month contract initially, but extensions are possible.

This contract will suit an experienced test engineer who is passionate about testing, both when it comes to improving software quality, but also the testing methods themselves.

Experience with wireless communication is pivotal, in particular Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Some exposure to Linux networking would also be very beneficial.

This is a fantastic location in Cambridge, withing modern highly specified office and working with a fantastic team on technology that will be out there in millions of products worldwide.

Day rate is negotiable on experience level.

 

Requirements for application:

• Ability to both plan and execute test campaigns
• Programming and scripting.
• Strong experience in software test and debugging
• Experience with communications ( WiFi, Bluetooth, Linux and networking, Wlan etc)
