Due to significant investment and continued expansion SoCode are recruiting a Software Team Leader for a highly prestigious electronics client just outside Cambridge.

Leading an embedded software development team of up to 10 people, you will be responsible for a full range of management responsibilities through the full software development lifecycle. You will be involved in requirements analysis, architecture, re-architecting when it doesn't have the capability, identifying functional needs in the software/product and project managing the creation of software modules.

You will be a highly effective manager, who is able to get the most out of their team, and is technically capable of working with engineers to help them solve problems. 

This is a very strong technical challenge at all levels. Our client face some of the most difficult engineering problems out there, and require the best engineers to solve those problems. The requirements for Team Leaders are just as stringent. As such, you can also be confident that you will be working with some of the best engineers in the business.

This is a very senior role, and requires people with good experience of being a team leader, or principle engineer. We are however also recruiting Senior Engineers, so please feel free to be in contact if you aren't sure if you hit the requirements for this role, but would like to find out more.

Requirements for application:

• Experience as a Team Lead / Principle Engineer or similar
• Background that includes C++, STL, Boost
• Experience of embedded software
