Software Product Manager – Bristol (hybrid/remote) - £110K - £150K plus benefits

SoCode are delighted to be partnering with a renowned semiconductor company based in Bristol who are seeking someone with the above knowledge within Electronics Engineering/Embedded Systems to work closely with Architects, Engineering Leads and other Product/Project Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with internal engineering teams and Software vendors to prioritize features and enhancements meeting customer needs.
- Perform competitive analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the clients solutions versus the competition.
- Evangelize in open-source communities and enthuse our customers and sales forces with the software offering by participating in customer meetings and training.
- Evaluate the complete value chain of end customers, manufacturers, and designers of hardware, software, and systems. This includes productization, support and quality assurance relating to what we deliver to those customers.
- Ability to work unsupervised, but as an integral member of a local developer team, as well as their globally distributed technology management team.
- Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively with other team members, customers, and suppliers to formulate, agree, and implement strategic plans.
- Demonstrable experience with creation and management of software requirements (preferably in a software/electronics product delivery context), and an understanding of how they are validated and delivered to required levels of quality.
- Software development experience, for example with firmware, operating systems or application development
