SoCode are sourcing for a Software Engineer, highly skilled in Continuous Integration Tools Administration, Version Control Administration and related tasks.

This role has come about due to the growth of our market leading client, a manufacturer of electronic products for use within industry. The contract itself will tie over the gap whilst long term considerations are taken in to account, and more permanent solutions are found. In addition our client are looking at moving towards a more agile approach, and bringing in DevOps in to play, so there is a strong possibility of the contract extending whilst everything settles down.

This role will see you working in a small, focused team, creating and managing tools used across the full software development lifecycle, supporting a team of around 30 developers. These tools will be used by a variety of engineers, from firmware developers, to application developers, and range from well known names such as TeamCity and Perforce, to bespoke applications developed in house.

Some experience of coding, and exposure to a variety of languages will also be necessary, although you don't need to be an expert.
