SoCode are proud to be working with a Global software vendor specializing in commodity and energy trading risk management software. Supporting their customers with mission critical trading software enabling them to trade power and gas, renewables, metals and agricultural commodities.

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join their Commodities trading and risk management Software Development team. Within this team you will have the opportunity to assist with the modernisation of their current software, while also maintaining and adding new functions to their software for their clients.

What you will need:

• Essential Tech skills: C#, .Net 5/6 or .Net Core, Angular, Typescript.
• Knowledge of web-based systems and tools.
• Nice to have tech skills: VB6/ VB.Net, Oracle, experience of migrating legacy systems.
• Experience with Azure or AWS would be beneficial.

With this role you will receive a salary of £40,000 to £55,000 per annum plus benefits as well as hybrid working; 2-3 days per week from their Cambridge or London office. If you would like to make a real impact within a company with strong growth opportunities, then this is the role for you!
