SoCode are proud to be working with a well-known Marketing Research company assisting a number of well-known household brands with their decision making through technology driven insights and data consultancy. Some of their biggest clients include Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Lego, The Cabinet Office, Coca Cola, Formula 1 among others.

We are looking for Software Engineers who are eager to learn, passionate and driven. You will work in a small Agile team, focusing on full stack development, building and delivering products for a variety of interesting projects; working within cross-functional teams.

You will need the following:

• Ideally you will need skills in C# and .Net, but any object orientated language such as Java or C++ would be suitable.
• Experience in SQL Server is ideal – but exposure to PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle shows you can pick up SQL Server.
• You enjoy building and improving products, are comfortable with shifting priorities in your work environment.
• Take pride in and stand by your work.

Company tech stack includes:

.NET 5 (shortly upgrading to 6): C#, with ASP.NET Web API, React and TypeScript for our front-end; SQL Server for data storage; Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform for hosting and infrastructure; GitHub, Azure Dev Pipelines, and Octopus Deploy for continuous delivery

The role offers a salary of up £35,000 to £55,000 per annum plus a great benefits package which includes a 35-hour work week, unlimited holiday allowance as well as Hybrid working (once a week in the office).
