Software Developer in Test (SDET- Python)- Cambridge- Contract £400-500 a day 3-6 months

My market leading client providing realtime data, is looking for a Software Developer in Test for upcoming and ongoing projects in the development team. 

The Role: 

• Bring existing automation framework up to date
• Make automation framework extensible
• Fully automate all regression and acceptance testing 
• Guide existing testers in maintenance of the automation framework 
• Test web applications using Selenium or similar 
• Work with members of the team to introduce TDD
• Demonstrate best practice for code reviews and continuous integration  

Skills:

• Expert at building/setting up automation testing frameworks/environments
• 3 years experience in Python
• Experience with source control systems (Git)
• Top quality communication skills

Desireable:

• Experience of Jira or similar
• Agile/Scrum experience 
• TDD
• Good knowledge of Docker and other virtual machine environments 
• Development experience in a Linux environment
