As a Software Developer, you will play an active part in creating high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with Senior Developers, you will assist in the iterative development cycle
• Assisting in scoping and planning of work
• Delivering software to high standards
• Enhancing systems and practices
• Ensuring peer review of code and appropriate test coverage are features of deliverables
• Mentor less experienced developers
• Contribute to research and adoption of new technologies

Training and personal development are very important for our client, therefore, you have the opportunity to identify skill gaps and training needs in order to manage your own career path and personal development plan.

The following skills are essential:

• Qualified by experience or degree qualifies in computer science (or a related field)
• Knowledge of tools that automate or assist with the development process
• Confident with one more programming languages and frameworks
• Strong knowledge of software design, database, and development skills
• Previous experience in the full software development lifecycle
• An understanding of the following C#, JavaScript, jQuery and MSSQL, WCF, and HTML/CSS
• Experience with Git, Team City, NUnit, or AWS is desirable
