Due to continued success and expansion of our market leading high tech client, SoCode are sourcing a Shift Process Engineers with a very broad understanding of the III-V Optoelectronic manufacturing lifecycle.

As a shift process engineer, you will be working a double day shift (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm), where you will provide cover for the specialist process engineers across the facility ranging from Growth, Epitaxy, Deposition, Etching, Photolithography, Yield and more. As such, this does require an engineer who either has experience of shift process in optoelectronics, or who wants to get in to shift and has a very broad understanding already.

This is a very exciting time to join our client, as they will be investing a lot in to the UK by building a brand new purpose built and highly specified facility for III-V optoelectronics R&D and manufacture. As a true high tech R&D and fabrication site, this role would suit someone who wants to work with the very latest technology on high end product development and research, that will be used to fulfil internal customer demands for highly specified products such as 5G infrastructure, high end routers, smart phones and more.

Requirements for application

• Experienced as a Process Engineer
• Broad experience across III-V semiconductor manufacturing processes - Growth, Epitaxy, Deposition, Etching, Photolithography, Yield etc
• Optoelectronics / optics experience
• Semiconductor manufacture
• Degree qualified in a relevant industry
