Senior Test Engineer – Cambridge – Competitive salary

Our Client, who are a global designer, manufacturer and supplier of electronics are looking for a Senior Tester to join their team to help with the testing of the company’s WLAN firmware. 

As the Senior Test Engineer you will be playing an important part within the WLAN development team helping test and improve the firmware that is responsible for testing the company’s latest Wi-Fi connectivity features. The Team you will be joining is heavily integrated within the development team, so they are looking for a candidate who isn’t afraid of interacting face to face with developers rather via email.

Their office is situated in the centre of Cambridge with excellent public transportation links.

A successful candidate will possess:

• Strong software testing experience with proven scripting ability (Python).
• Someone who is not afraid to engage with the developers face to face in order to solve issues.
• Experience of wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Use of Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
