Working alongside some software developers who helped build the keystone programmes of Java, the right candidate will be able to work Java and utilise a large area of experience and expertise. With in-depth knowledge of JVM, IntelliJ/Eclipse and further Java extensions and development of system architecture, you would be right at home in a likeminded, incredibly skilled and passionate team working on an R&D heavy greenfield project.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• Excellent Java experience and Java plugins including IntelliJ/Eclipse/JVM
• Bare metal and/or linux and real time OS
• Comfortable working within teams and leading/developing greenfield R&D projects
• Real passion and interest in Java development and expansion of Java knowledge
• Familiarity with software development practices and tools, such as agile development, version control, software testing, continuous integration and virtualisation
• Excellent communication skills
• Project management skills
