Senior Product Manager - £125k to £135k plus 10% bonus - Cambridge (fully on site initially)

A global leader in it's space is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join its rapidly expanding team. The company designs and manufactures robust hardware with a flexible, Linux-based operating system.

This position offers the opportunity to drive the roadmap and vision for an entire line  products, including the development and evolution of the company’s Linux-based operating system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product strategy and roadmap in alignment with corporate initiatives and long-term vision.
  • Analyse customer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships to develop actionable product plans.
  • Evaluate new product opportunities and define go-to-market strategies.
  • Own and prioritise the product backlog for the embedded software and operating system across all hardware lines.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and positioning
  • Collaborate with engineering to estimate development timelines, manage trade-offs, and guide releases.
  • Provide technical expertise and product positioning support to sales, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to deliver embedded software for hardware products.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across SaaS, DevOps, QA automation, and interface software teams in an agile environment.
  • Manage the realities of hardware production and manufacturing timelines while maintaining agile delivery principles.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally within embedded systems or software/hardware product lines.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in commercial product development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs and sprints.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a strong record of delivering successful products to market.
Highly Desirable
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • Experience managing products that integrate both hardware and software components.
  • Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and embedded systems architecture.
