Senior IT Service Delivery Manager – Financial Services
Location: London (Liverpool Street) – 1-2 days a week
Salary: £75-85K

Our client, a start up FinTech organisation, is seeking a Senior IT Service Delivery Manager to join their growing technology function. This is a pivotal role, working with senior stakeholders to oversee the delivery of IT services across infrastructure and SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end IT service delivery across multiple business units, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Act as the bridge between IT teams, vendors, and senior business stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
  • Lead service improvement initiatives, using ITIL best practices to enhance processes, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee infrastructure services and SaaS platforms, ensuring resilience, security, and compliance.
  • Manage escalations and major incidents, driving root cause analysis and preventative action.
  • Provide leadership to service delivery teams, ensuring a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record as a Senior IT Service Delivery Manager (or similar leadership role) within a financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management best practice (ITIL certification desirable).
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and SaaS delivery models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-centric mindset.
