Senior Director of Research and Development:

Work with innovation and development teams on new products for the sector. The successful candidate will be a senior hire in a similar sized company with a track record of delivering to market.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive new product development, working with internal teams and business management to meet project timelines and market demand
• Work with relevant parties in supply chain and manufacturing to ensure successful product introduction.
• Work with product team to develop roadmap and continuous improvement
• Budget plans for R&D
• Liaise with legal counsel on IP and patent filing etc.
• Collaborate with talent acquisition team and build and retain the best talent in the industry
• International travel as required

Education:

• BSc or MSc in an engineering is necessary for this role

Professional Experience:

• Experience in complex electronics
• Experience in coding
• Strong management and leadership ability
