Sales Director  
Location: Cambridgeshire 
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer 
Important info: The Sales Director must be eligible for UK Security Clearance and have a full UK driving licence

 
How would you like to support national security in a critical sales leadership position with a respected and established Cambridge tech success story, with market leading products?

Aside from a compelling package (including a strong OTE and other perks), you’ll get the chance to work alongside industry veterans and disruptive technology in the defence and security industries. As their Sales Director, you’ll not only help to grow the Commercial function, but you’ll be leading from the front and winning enterprise logos to support their mission. 

As Sales Director, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to set direction, lead major bids and develop a high performing sales organisation capable of delivering ambitious targets. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Set the commercial strategy and lead all sales activity across the business 
  • Win major contracts and create long term partnerships with key clients 
  • Drive expansion into new markets and international regions 
  • Build, mentor and inspire a high performing and growing sales team 
  • Work closely with technical and product leaders shaping future products 
Experience & Qualifications 
  • We're looking for an exceptional leader with a minimum of 5 years experience in a sales leadership role within a high technology or engineering-led environment 
  • Technical background is beneficial
  • Demonstrable track record of winning and delivering large, complex contracts 
  • Eligibility for UK security clearance 
  • Full UK driving licence
