SoCode are proud to have teamed up with an exciting IoT company in Cambridge who are looking to recruit a Test Manager or QA Lead to join them on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have management/lead experience of a system test team and be a confident communicator. You’ll have the opportunity to work in an innovative environment on a variety of projects.

Essential skills:

• Experience of testing complex systems including wireless devices and networks, web and particularly Linux platforms
• Design and Implement Test Architecture to maximise coverage and efficiency of testing
• Strong test automation knowledge and experience of developing both manual and automation testers
• Manage a team of test engineers both manual and automation
• Good system level knowledge and development experience of wireless communication systems
• Solid problem-solving skills and decision making

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of test engineers at various levels
• Develop and implement test architecture
• Drive test automation
• Develop and manage test environments
• Manage and participate in the execution of system testing
• Facilitate close cooperation between teams such as; development, test and operations to drive continuous improvement of the quality of system releases
