£35,000 - £50,000

Creativity is at the heart of everything this business does while working across a number of industries such as consumer, industrial and life sciences. You will be working on creating new ideas and designing new products within in a small team of design engineers.
Utilising SolidWorks, you will delivering high quality consulting engineering services to clients. You will do this by working with other project team members, including the project technical lead, to understand customer requirements and define innovative concepts that meet those requirements. As Product Design Engineer, you will be able to contribute to new innovative ideas and concepts for products packaging and manufacturing processes.
As a Product Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on your ability to apply scientific principles and creativity across a wide variety of problems while applying your knowledge of manufacturing processe, as well as materials and their properties.
 
What do we need?
  • A passion for design and innovation
  • User-centred design experience
  • Visual design skills (sketching, illustrating, graphic design, etc)
  • SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly processes, and material properties
Some desirables:
  • Project management and client relationships
  • Build, prototype and test experience
  • Human factors knowledge
  • KeyShot
 
This consultancy are offering a salary range of £35,000 - 50,000 along with a strong benefits package (28 days annual leave, free parking, private health care, bonus, electric vehicle/cycle to work scheme, etc)
