SoCode are proud to be working in partnership with a major Cambridge employer - a large and established software house going through an exciting period of change.

They are creating a team to research, design and implement a cloud platform using AWS and Azure and move their software into this platform - they need you, as Principal Engineer, to play a lead role in this project, from hands on development and architecture, to mentoring the more junior members of the team. You will be responsible for designing and developing highly available and scalable services in the cloud and ensure the deployment and operation is automated.

As Principal Engineer you will have a deep understanding of Cloud development with AWS Solutions Architect experience and excellent knowledge of EC2, Lambda, DynamoDb, NodeJS and C#. But, above all this, a genuine desire to learn new technologies and the motivation to help deliver an instrumental project during this transformational period for the business.
