Position: Senior/Principal Embedded Software Engineer – Embedded/Linux/C/Python

SoCode has an exciting opportunity with a client preparing for the future. Are you interested in working on 5G? If so this is the right role for you. My client is looking to hire a Linux heavy Embedded Engineer with experience in Python and C to become part of a brand new team of 6 engineers working on their next generation of radios. You will be part of a small team of expert engineers who will be looking to take the company to the next level as you aid in the Design, Development and Testing of their software. This will include building something from the ground up, implementing Software, and ensure that the product meets specific criteria.

Principal Embedded Software Engineer – Embedded/Linux/C/Python - Spec

• Work with the Architect on the new product range
• Mentoring Junior Engineers
• Design, Develop and implement Software
• Provide time scales for product at all stages
• Solving Problems

• Programming in C and Python
• Networking and protocol Experience
• scripting experience - Python, Bash, JavaScript, Java etc.
• Layers integration (MAC/Modem)
