Our client, a prominent player in the networking sector, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Pre-Sales & Implementation Consultant to join their team. Position Overview:
As a Pre-Sales & Implementation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by providing expert technical guidance and support throughout the pre-sales and implementation process. You will work closely with our client's sales team, as well as directly with customers, to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their objectives. The role will be based in Ipswich, on site 2 days a week, with some international travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and propose appropriate networking solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our client's products and services.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, including solution designs, configurations, and pricing.
- Serve as a technical advisor during the sales process, addressing customer inquiries and providing clarification on technical aspects.
- Lead the implementation phase of projects, working closely with customers to ensure smooth deployment and integration of networking solutions.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to customers, enabling them to effectively utilize and maintain the implemented solutions.
- Act as a liaison between customers and our client's internal teams, conveying feedback and requirements to support product development and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within the networking industry.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, security).
- Hands-on experience with networking equipment and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and network management tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
