Platform Lead Azure DevOps- Permanent- Cambridge- £80k-£100k

A brilliant opportunity has come up with one of our most prestigous clients in Cambridge for a Platform Lead specialising in Azure DevOps to join and build a brand new team within the business. This is an opportunity for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer, who has built a strong knowledgebase and hands on experience within DevOps, who now leads projects and teams, to join an industry leading, global reaching software company who works with some of the biggest, most recogniseable brands in the world. 

This indvidual will be 80% hands on to begin with but as the team grows, this hands on work will revert to 40% hands on whilst running projects and the different individuals in the team. The growth of this partiuclar team will be down to the Platform Lead so you will have the opportunity to direct recruitment and ensure the best people are working on these business critical projects. 

The Role:

• Building, maintaining and enhancing the core platform
• Assemble and develop a motivated team of individuals who are capable of performing as an effective and efficient team
• Responsible for the use of various technologies, direction of the team and delivery of projects 

Skills Required:

• Strong experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Currently leading large projects and managing personnel 
• Strong experience of continuous integration
• Design and Architectural experience 
• High quality verbal and written communication

Nice to have: 

• AZURE Data Lake, COSMOS, AZURE Search, AZURE API Manager, AZURE Dev Ops
• Azure functions
