This is very much a people management position; you will not be directly involved in delivery. The focus of this job is to ensure that quality, best practice, and continuous improvement are maintained as the company expands. Ultimately, an agile line manager who will collaborate with team(s) and help them become the best software engineering team possible. 

Due to the nature of this role we would actually consider a job a part-time/job share so if you know anyone returning to work who might be interested let us know!

We are open to people who have not been Managers before but do have the desire to work in a role which is people and process centric. No previous experience in Electronics or Semiconductors is required.

These roles will report in to the newly-appointed Head of Software who will offer support to the successful candidates.

Essential Skills

Strong Experience and Desire to work with People & Processes
Agile / SCRUM Experience & Enthusiasm
Focus on L&D and Continuous Development Environment Improvement
Managing / Appraising / Mentoring / Coaching

Desirable Skills

Previous experience as a Software Engineer / SCRUM Master
Knowledge of C++ (not a necessity) / Ability to Code-review.
