Mid/Senior Software Engineer (C & Python)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary – Up to £66,000 (Total Package Exceeding £100k+)

SoCode recruitment are delighted to be working with a world leading technology company, who are looking for enthusiastic and talented software engineers to join their UK team. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which spans CPU, GPU and SoC development, working on next generation hardware for use in IOT products.

The company is one of the biggest players in the technology space, and have offices and teams in every continent. Their products are used in mobile devices, gaming, automotive technology and IOT applications, and impact the lives of people across the globe.  

Suitable applicants will need:

-          Ability to collaborate with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers, Training and Product Support.

-          Good understanding of Software Development

-          Competent in C, with the ability to develop in systems with CPU and memory requirements. (Not C++)

-          Development experience working on BareMetal

-          Good knowledge of Python

Desirables:

-          A 2:1 degree or better in a numerate / computer science related subject

-          Knowledgeable of DSP and CPU architecture, design, and hardware/software interaction.

-           Signal processing software knowledge (Audio processing products in particular)
