The Role:

Are you a test engineer that would be interested in working with an exciting technology company that specialise in anti-terrorism and fraud detection?

We have an excellent opportunity for a strong manual tester with Linux experience to join a small, Agile, Software team.

You will be collaborating with everyone involved in the engineering effort to design, plan, and implement testing required to ensure their software is the best it can possibly be.  If you are comfortable building and configuring test environments, keen to face the interesting challenges that make their testing unique, then we want to hear from you!

They provide flexibility in terms of remote and office-based working, with the expectation that you will need to attend the Cambridge office just one day per week.

We want to hear from you if you:

• Have a non-structured approach to testing, and experience in Exploratory testing
• Consider yourself an intelligent thinker, problem solver and ask intelligent questions  
• Write your own scripted regression tests
• Have the ability to document and communicate complex technical ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Awareness of automation tools (this is a bonus!)
• Are inspired and excited by all aspects of testing
• A problem solver and critical thinker
• Enjoy working in small, multi-disciplinary teams
• Have knowledge/understanding of Windows and Linux systems
