Primary Objectives:
- Lead firmware development, collaborating closely with electronics and software teams.
- Craft test specifications and plans based on design documents.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose emerging issues within the wider engineering team.
- Develop unit test modules/scripts to validate software/hardware functionalities.
- Architect and develop firmware for the entire device, featuring microcontrollers and systems on chips.
- Prioritize, prototype, and deploy features to meet the dynamic needs of an early-stage startup.
- Write efficient, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews.
- Champion firmware development processes to ensure optimal performance.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience within highly regulated environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with Git.
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and secure firmware development for wireless communications.
- Exceptional programming and coding skills, with a keen eye for detail and code quality.
- Strong documentation abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Effective communication across disciplines.
