SoCode are proud to be working in partnership with a revolutionary technology firm in Cambridge who work at the cutting edge of technology and are growing at a phenomenal organic rate. Due to this my client are looking for a Versatile Software Engineer to join one of their development teams.

You will be working in collaboration with other like minded software and hardware engineers. You will play a crucial part in the development of next-gen products that will help take the company from strength to strength. You will be working on complex problems which means that producing well designed, readable, clean code is essential!

You will need to have good working experience in network technology and programming skills in Linux/Embedded Linux with a can do attitude towards learning and development of new skills to assist in other required areas of the business in the opportunity comes.

The successful candidate will be primarily self-managing and technically hands-on with the ability to demonstrate good C/C++ knowledge and the ability to write, for fast prototyping of new Proof of Concept demonstrators. 

Skill requirement:

• Excellent knowledge of C
• Orogramming on Linux/embedded Linux
• Good understanding of network technology
• Experience of Networking and IP networks
• Experience of Video and Audio networking in distributed systems

Location: Cambridge 
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum
