Linux Devops Engineer- Cambridge- Permanent- £35k-£50k

One of SoCode's key clients in Cambridge is looking to add to their support and infrastructure team by hiring a Linux DevOps Engineer ongoing projects. The opportunity has come about due to growth of the business even during these unprecedented times. 

The successful applicant will be a confident DevOps Engineer with strong skills in AWS cloud environments as well as Linux. This individual will build and maintain large cloud-based infrastructures who takes pride in their work and loves the challenge of running intricate platforms used by millions of people every day. 

Required Skills: 

• 5+ years experience doing Linux administration in a fast paced commercial envrionment 
• Demonstratable experience managing AWS cloud-based environments
• Strong experience using Linux OS 
• Experience with Docker 
• Experience with deployment and automation frameworks
• Scripting experience with Python

Desireable:

• CI/CD frameworks and version control systems such as Git

• Experience of serverless and cloud native architectures - Lambda functions.

• Experience of maintaining large scale APIs
