This company is headquartered in California and have recently opened their R&D function in Cambridge, UK. The entertainment market has blown up post pandemic, sat at a headcount of 100 employees, they are looking to grow this exceptional team considerably this year while offering above market salaries and share packages.

We are currently looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their growing Server Engineering team. You will be responsible for the architecture of a high-load, complex, distributed system, designed for both cloud deployment and on-premise hosting. You will take part in discussions and research of complex technical tasks including troubleshooting, system analysis and optimization, and re-architecting existing modules.

What you will need:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software development: JavaScript, .NET Core, ASP.Net, WCF, Web API
• Solid understanding of HTTP and network communication stack
• Experience of REST services
• Experience with distributed systems architecture
• Experience with microservice architecture

The role offers a salary of £100,000 to £125,000 per annum as well as share packages vested over 4 years and 10% bonus per annum. The company is based in Cambridge and offer a flexible hybrid working model.
