Lead Software Developer/Python Team Lead- Cambridge- £50k-£65k

One of our most exciting clients based in Cambridge is looking to add to their forever growing development team by hiring a Team Lead specialising in Python software engineering. 

This particular client, who are researching and developing ground breaking medical devices technology, is continuing to grow as they receive continued funding from large pharmceutical and medical clients. In order to deliver on this ground breaking technology and continued growth, they are looking to add structure to their software development outfit. 

Working alongside the Data Science and research teams, the successful candidate will not only be responsible for working hands on producing top quality python code, but will also manage the day to day running of the python team by managing 6 engineers, delegating projects, supporting and mentoring as well as supporting the overall delivery. Similarly, you will attend strategic meetings in-line with ongoing projects and represent the Python team to senior management and stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will have in-depth Python skills, confidence dealing with senior management and ideally some experience leading technical projects and managing a team.
