JavaScript Developer – Cambridge – up to £100,000

This company is headquartered in California and have recently opened their R&D function in Cambridge, UK. The entertainment market has blown up post pandemic, sat at a headcount of 100 employees, they are looking to grow this exceptional team considerably this year while offering above market salaries and share packages. As one of the first engineers to open up this function in Cambridge you will have full autonomy to set in place your own processes and ways of working.

Our client is looking for the very best JavaScript engineers to join their team and are offering attractive salaries to match this. You will be helping to build cross-platform applications that are key to supporting their main product line. You can expect exposure to both frontend development and middleware development.

 

Role Specifics:

• You will work within an exceptional project team to complete the development of a highly reliable application that will allow their clients to connect to hardware devices in a variety of ways.
• You will be working with a modern tech stack. TypeScript and React. If you have previous experience with Electron and cloud-based backends then this will be a bonus.
• The needs of customers are ever changing, because of this you will help to design and build software to meet these changing requirements.
• The hybrid working model is they’re ideal, they are looking for people who can commit to coming into the office occasionally. However, fully remote options will be considered.

 

Compensation and benefits:

• £80,000 to £100,000 per annum
• Share packages vested over 4 years
• 10% bonus per annum
• Flexible working model
