As they continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and skilled 1st/2nd Line IT Technician to join a team with a clear pathway to progress into an Information Security role.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and technically adept individual with a passion for IT and a keen interest in Information Security. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a solid foundation in IT support while gaining exposure to and training in the field of Information Security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently.
  • Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical queries in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  • Assist in the maintenance of IT documentation, asset management, and inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
  • Gain exposure to Information Security practices, assisting with basic security tasks and initiatives under the guidance of the Information Security team.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of IT fundamentals (e.g., networking, operating systems, hardware).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Demonstrated interest in Information Security, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
