IT Support Engineer 1st and 2nd Line - Cambridge
Contact £200 to £250 per day dependant on experience
SoCode is partnered with a multinational information technology company which provides excellent software solutions across a number of industries. They are looking for an experienced Support engineer in Cambridge although some national travel may be required for this position.
Main Responsibilities
- Management of escalated Helpdesk support incidents within agreed SLAs through to completion,
- Provide service and support of the company’s entire IT infrastructure in order to maintain optimum availability and communication,
- Provide userbase training for skill transfer in IT service teams to all levels,
- Assistance of direct user support in Cambridge as well as remotely,
- Actively contribute to IT support development,
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Experience of Level 1 or level 2 support
- Problem solving and troubleshooting experience,
- Windows OS and Server based support,
- Support experience of common client software e.g.: Microsoft Office 365, Skype, etc,
- Understanding of networking, active directory, backup, antivirus, hardware and maintenance,
- Excellent communication skills,
