Title: IT Operations Director

Rate: £700 to £900 a day Outside

Location: Occasional travel to London

My client is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic IT Operations Director to join our esteemed team on a contract basis, operating outside of IR35. As a leading provider of financial services, they have acquired several businesses so need an IT Operations director.

About the Role:

The IT Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their IT operations, including but not limited to infrastructure management, network security, system administration, cloud services, security and software platforms. You will be working at an enterprise level and will need to have worked on large scale transformations. Your role will be to come in and assess the current set up and consolidate. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of vendors, procurement, cost optimisation, consolidation and integration.

Experience:

Proven experience in a senior IT management role, with a track record of success in overseeing complex IT operations and systems.

Deep understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including hardware, software, networking, cloud (AWS and Azure) and security.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Deep knowledge of vendor management and procurement within technology.

You will have a strong background working within enterprise transformations programs.
