Contract Opportunity – Enterprise Architect (HR Systems) – Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid – Crawley/Sussex area. (2-3 Days on site)
Contract Length: 2-3 months Design (initial)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Day Rate: 800-1000 per day
We’re currently partnering with a leading financial services organisation undergoing significant transformation and change to update & upgrade legacy HR systems to an Enterprise level. We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in, Banking/finance, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) to help define and drive enterprise-level architecture strategy across complex business and technology environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and roadmap enterprise architecture across large-scale financial environments.
- Lead architectural integration workstreams during mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.
- Define and govern architecture principles, frameworks, and standards for business and IT alignment.
- Collaborate with business leaders, security teams, and data stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
- Provide strategic input across digital transformation initiatives within a regulated financial services environment.
- Proven Enterprise Architecture experience at enterprise scale within the banking or finance industry.
- Long Standing knowledge of HRIS (HR Information Systems)
- Design & Enterprise Architecture implementing HR & Finance Systems
- Hands-on involvement in M&A initiatives with architectural oversight of integration and separation activities.
- Deep understanding of security and data architecture within regulated financial institutions.
- Strong ability to produce high-level architectural artefacts, strategic roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement at C-level and senior business/IT leaders.
- Inside IR35 – candidates must engage via an approved umbrella company.
- Crawley, Sussex | hybrid working (2–3 days on-site expected to engage with Board & C-level).
- Immediate start or short notice highly desirable.
