An emerging start-up, who have developed a product that will have a significant impact on the medical industry, are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team in Cambridge.

Based in central Cambridge, my client have produced a piece of hardware that will enable more accurate diagnosis and has the functionality to connect to mobile networks and cloud platforms, utilising cutting edge Internet of Things technology.

You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly talented and collaborative team of technologists who all share the same aim of wanting to see their efforts deliver impact in the real world.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or numerate subject
• Embedded Expert – C/C++
• Practical experience of automated testing to validate hardware and software components.
• Experience of developing applications on Bare Metal

Desirable:

• System on Chip design and configuration
• Experience with Python
• Understanding of IoT, Mobile and Telecommunications technology
