SoCode are delighted to be working with a leading technology company in Cambridge. Established over 50 years ago, this company are pioneers for Automotive and IoT technologies in Cambridge. They have a huge team based in Cambridge and you’ll be working with the world leading Bluetooth Firmware group.

Some of the things you’ll be involved in (not limited to)…

• Assisting the development team in testing a range of products (speakers, headsets, hearing aids etc.) as well as IoT devices and in car media, sensors etc.
• Working in an Agile/Scrum environment, you’ll be involved in embedded firmware testing (measuring performance, ensuring Bluetooth conformance etc.)
• Leading test activities of embedded firmware
  • Test planning, test execution, scripting, and improving the automation and extending test capabilities
  • Designing test coverage
• Reporting results
• Supporting more junior members of the team
• Evolving processes and improvements

They are looking for someone who has…

• Experience of testing embedded firmware or wireless tech (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi)
• Solid experience of working with a scripting language
• Relevant degree in electronics/software/maths/science
• Experience of both Windows and Linux
• Great communication skills
